The 50 best dressed runners
The finale in the competition for the runner best dressed in 1912 style was held during the Post race party on Sunday 15 July. This was very much appreciated by the other runners and the volunteers who attended the party.
A jury with five of Sweden´s best long distance runners during the last 30 years decided the four winners among the 18 runners in the finale. One of these winners were Sally Osterberg from USA who got second price. She ran the Jubilee Marathon, dressed as her grandfather was when he finished 17th in the 1912 Olympic marathon race in Stockholm. Winner was Fredrik Holst from Stockholm who got a medal in pure gold. The other three winners in the finale got silver medals.
The 50 best dressed runners all got a bowl of ceramics, specially made for the Jubilee Marathon. Most of the winners picked up their award at the Post race party. Those who did not will get the award by post.
