Slide show Post race party
Runners and volunteers were back in the Olympic Stadium for the Post race party on Sunday 15 July. Everyone did enjoy the competition for the runner best dressed in 1912 style. Here Sally Osterberg from USA got second price. She ran the Jubilee Marathon, dressed as her grandfather was when he finished 17th in the 1912 Olympic marathon race in Stockholm.

It was a nice atmosphere when the Jubilee Marathon started with the Marathon Expo. The Expo opened and closed in sunshine, but in the afternoon there was thunder and a hailstorm.

The 12th annual DN Stockholm Half Marathon will be staged on Saturday 15 September 2012. This will be a race to remember. You will run an inspiring and fast course through many inner city areas of Stockholm. Start and finish at the Royal Palace.

Great races in Sweden 2012
The 35th ASICS Stockholm Marathon will be an exiting race in a beautiful city with 21,500 runners from all over the world. Enthusiastic spectators line the route in the Swedish capital. At the finish in the classical 1912 Olympic Stadium thousands of fans greet the runners.

The first ever Stockholm Ultra Marathon will be on Sunday 4 August 2013. The race will have two distances; 50 km and 100 km. The course will run in the central parts of Stockholm.

This is the biggest sporting event in Sweden for women with 33,000 female runners and joggers of all ages. The 30th Tjejmilen will be staged on Saturday 7 September 2013.
Everyone loves the scenic course through the royal park ”Djurgården” in central Stockholm. The distance is 10,000 metres.
